Connecting Therapists and Interpreters to Support Displaced People Remotely

Our Mission

Kin-nection is a 501(c)(3) public charity that supports displaced people navigating the emotional toll of forced migration. We connect individuals from around the world with interculturally and linguistically competent mental health care. Whether fleeing conflict or climate crisis, we recognize that healing isn’t always clinical—sometimes, it’s simply about restoring a sense of KINship and human conNECTION.

What We Do

At Kin-nection, we aim to build a self-sustaining ecosystem of support.  Our collective of therapists and interpreters support each other in order to better support refugee mental health. When newcomers have wellbeing, our society benefits. Let's make our communities stronger together.

Newcomer clients

Welcome, refugees. We believe in your worth and resilience. We understand that navigating a new country can be challenging, and your mental health is important. We offer a safe space to connect with therapists and interpreters who are not only skilled professionals but also understand your language and cultural experiences.

I've heard of remote therapy and in-person therapy using an interpreter.
But how do they work together?
